Rent-A-Room manages the occupancy numbers of the properties they manage according to the capacity of the house. Most houses have contractual restrictions by how many people can live there. We do not provide short term accommodation but we allow our tenants to have guest if staying for a short time. However tenants are expected to always notify Rent-A-Room that a guest is spending the night in the house. Additional charges will apply to the tenant that is hosting the guest in the monthly house expenses billing cycle and additional rent may be charged as well. If a unannounced guest is hosted by a tenant the tenant will be charged $90.- per person per night plus the additional house expenses without further notice. During their stay, the guest will need to stay in the hosting tenants private accommodation and the hosting tenant will be held accountable for the guests behavior.
